People were angry and frustrated because of GT5 at TGS, people were complaining about GT5's damage modeling and driving physics when they seen both GT5 and Forza 3 running in Japan. PD pushed the game back half a year as a result. This is why PD made a public statement after TGS saying they were going to add this and that to GT5 that all happen to be what GT5 lacks and Forza 3 has.

What they were really saying is Uncharted wasn't borrowing what works in other successful games, it's simply! a straight clone! or copy-cat! of other games! The first Uncharted was Gears with a different story and different paint.
I'm not talking borrowing as in making a character jump like Mario, I mean painting Mario different colors and slapping a new story on.
This review almost seems like sarcasm. Check out the fanboy comments about GT5, Forza 2 and the >cons< of the game. Sounds like a bitter review. Their criticisms and fanboy comments are the complete opposite when compared to most of the other reviews.

The biggest test is the sales of the game and that is based off of people playing the game telling others sitting on the fence it's worth plopping $60 for. Most people don't get game mags or visit the net but they do talk to friends and others that might be casual in nature. I'm getting Uncharted 2 too I hope I don't get rid of it like Killzone 2 right after I beat the game.
Great score everybody in the industry agrees this is the best Sim ever created.
